Project Description:
The overall Observation Tower design concept derives from the image of rings of communication emanating out to the universe from a central beacon; “The Universal Beacon”. The stainless-steel rings of the tower are meant to be seen as rings of information, varying in time and frequency as they start their journey to distant recipients. The frequencies travel in all four cardinal points as well as into space. As they rise the rings gradually increase in distance and diameter like the rings of a water drop. To reflect this image the tower is purposefully designed in a clean and iconic image; one that is both strong and physically powerful yet light and ephemeral.
