Kunming Yuhua International mix-use development was conceived as an urban center of Kunming Chenggon Newtown. Located on 34044 sm urban parcel, this largest development includes a mix of commercial and residential uses in total 190648 sm building areas. The architecture of Kunming Yuhua International Development reflects the relationship between buildings and nature as the embodiment of sustainable community and healthy living enlightenment. Central courtyards provide appropriately scaled and safe pedestrian spaces tailored to commercial buildings and residential blocks that create unique identities for its visitors and inhabitants. By organizing the entire complex along a major boulevard to give it a primary presence within the city, SBA was able to create an urban destination within the development that caters to a diverse mix of residential, office, hotel, and retail patrons. With a unique layout that allows for active street connections as well as natural landscape features, residents are afforded active integration with its amenities, while enjoying privacy and dramatic views of the surrounding mountains.
